About the Artist

Sarah Zak body of work is shaped by cinematic influences, analogue-inspired aesthetics and a strong sense of emotion and atmosphere, combining beauty, storytelling and raw authenticity.

As a female photographer, she creates a space where women feel

performance, without constraint. With a background in high-end makeup artistry, she moved beyond constructed artificial perfection to seek something more honest. Sensuality that is unfiltered, presence that is raw and authentic. Working primarily with analog film, her work explores sensuality, identity and the sculptural nature of the human form.
